It is rare. VERY rare. That I am actually a guest at a wedding but with a lot of planning and forewarning from my awesome friend Amy I was able to jet off to Maine for a weekend of wedding bliss with some very dear college friends. Amy and Preston were married in Freeport, Maine and if you have never been there it is beautiful (and a shopping mecca). They were married in a picturesque field overlooking the beautiful marsh with acoustic guitar playing surrounded by family and friends. Key note here is that I was not the photographer although I could not resist taking some shots of my stunning friends. Her photographer was the very talented Marti Stone. I was able to sit back, relax and soak in the atmosphere which was nothing short of five star. Her reception was held at the Harraseeket Inn, where she did wedding preparations and the guests also stayed. I didn’t take many pictures at the reception since this was my one wedding opportunity to take my cue and dance! Congrats and love to Amy and Preston – may all your dreams come true – TOGETHER.
